Snow jobs

Thank you for your interest in working at Thredbo for Winter 2010.

Positions are now listed and we trust the information provided will assist you in making the decision to choose Thredbo as your winter working destination for 2010.

As you will see when reading the position descriptions, Thredbo wants to employ enthusiastic, reliable people who are interested in providing excellent customer service for the whole season.

How to Apply

Browse through the Positions Vacant and choose the appropriate job, keeping in mind the qualifications and experience, if any, that the position requires. You can also have a second and third preference.

Once you have applied you will not be able to submit another application, so make sure you include your second and third preferences on your application.

You will need to attach your resumé, which should be in Word or PDF format, and a covering letter. Once this is submitted you should receive a confirmation email that this has been received. Make sure you type your email address correctly as this is our main source of contact with you.

Returning staff

Returning staff should complete your application online and the trigger for us will be the question ‘Have you worked for KT previously’ – make sure you put in the correct year. Only the last year you worked for us is necessary. Returning staff from 2009 are not required to submit a resume.

If you are re-applying to the same department, your application will go directly to that manager who will contact you. If you are changing departments, you will be advised if you are required to attend an interview.

If re-applying and wanting to change departments to the Thredbo Snow Sports School, you will need to attend interviews and training clinics as outlined in the information set out for Snow Sports School positions.

For all positions except with the Snow Sports School, you must apply before 1 April 2010.

Interviews

To find out if you were successful for an interview your name will be posted on this website on Wednesday 7 April 2010. Only those successful for an interview will be listed on the internet. Or alternatively, you can phone us on 7 April, 2010 on (02) 6459 4100 during business hours.

Emails confirming interviews and interview information will be forwarded to your contact email address. If you have been selected for an interview and wish to be considered for a position, it is essential to attend on one of the dates listed:

Sydney

Friday 16 April (2pm - 7.00pm) or

Saturday 17 April (8.30am to 2.00pm)

Brisbane

Sunday 18 April 2009 (8.30am to 3pm)

Thredbo

By appointment between 6 April and 22 April 2010 (excluding 16-18 April).

Please Note: Thredbo holds one-on-one interviews with the manager of the department in which you have been selected to work.

You can choose the day that suits best, but we do not make appointment times, so please be prepared to wait if it is busy.
