Location
Thredbo is nestled in a pretty valley in the beautiful Kosciuszko National Park. It is located on the Alpine Way, 33km from Jindabyne in the Snowy Mountains of NSW. The Alpine Way is the main access road from NSW to Victoria and Thredbo's location is ideally situated for travellers between the two States. Cooma, the closest major town to Thredbo, is about an 1 hour's drive. Canberra, Australia's capital city, is approximately 2.5 hours drive from Thredbo, and Sydney is around 6 hours drive.

Housing Information
Jindabyne has a number of real estate agencies that are very familiar with renting properties to winter seasonal staff.  We recommend you contact them to secure your accommodation if you wish to live with friends.

For staff employed for the full season the company can source housing in Jindabyne, the service town for the ski resorts. Apartments are fully furnished self-contained with kitchens and laundry facilities. All company accommodation is on a twin-share basis. Staff take full responsibility for the care of the property during their occupancy. We do not provide accommodation for short stays, i.e. school holidays, weekend workers and the like.  Estimated Cost:  $160+ which will include an allowance for energy - excess energy will be the tenants' responsibility

Security deposit:  Approx.  $550
