Snow camping
Become a Snowy Mountains pioneer on this exciting overnight adventure. You not only experience the exquisite sunrise and sunset from Australia's highest peaks but also get first hand experience in snowshoe travel and survival skills. Our qualified guides will teach you how to locate a suitable campsite, setup camp, create a culinary feast and will offer tips on weather conditions.
The trip includes all camping gear, all food, snowshoes, lift tickets, qualified guides, insurances and relevant permits. All you need to bring is your clothing and an adventuring attitude.
A toilet is set up away from the camp and the human waste from this is carried out and disposed of in the normal way.
You can combine this trip with a Back Country Alpine Touring day trip if you wish to use skis on the trip. Otherwise snowshoes are the required mode of moving across the snow.
