HIP High Intensity Program – Level 5 - 8Looking to push yourself into the next level of skiing, then the High Intensity Program, lovingly known as HIP, is the program for you. Small groups of like-minded and like skilled skiers are teamed up with some of Australia's top instructors to focus on improvement and breakthrough. The 5-day program will give you the skills you need to ski with confidence on a greater variety of terrain. On the snow you work on your stance, balance, technique and terrain selection, and then in the evening there are a number of presentations that give you tips on equipment, fitness and tuning. By the end of the program you would have made new ski buddies and be armed with the knowledge and skills to take on any mountain.
Special Program features:
- 5 hours of skiing tuition per day
- Video analysis with individual assessment
- Lift pass
- End of program dinner
WHIP Women's High Intensity Program - Level 5 - 8This one is for the girls, looking to improve their skiing in a fun and supportive environment.
The Women's High Intensity Program (WHIP) is a great way to develop your skiing with a small group of girls who are more interested in exploring new territory with confidence and improving on-snow skills than going hard and fast. Women instructors who understand the individual needs of women lead the small groups down terrain that is best suited to their ability and confidence levels. All this combined with the support of the rest of the group is what encourages learning. After 5 days on the snow with WHIP you are sure to be carving with confidence with a whole new group of snow friends.
Special Program features:
- 5 hours of skiing tuition per day
- Video analysis with individual assessment
- Lift pass
- End of program dinner
Super Sessions - Level 7 - 8More advanced skiers - your attention please - grab a Thredbo Super Session and you will get plenty of that - attention. You get to refine your on-snow skills and save some money, now that's a deal. Basically you pay for 1 hour of tuition and you receive 3 hours on the snow with one of Australia's top instructors. Groups are small, (max 3 people), there might be just you, one other or there might be three but you are all of the same ability, so you can all maximise your time on the snow.
Masters Training - Level 7 - 8There's no-one faster than a Thredbo Master, well that's what the Thredbo Masters tell us!
Thredbo Snow Sports Masters training has groups that focus on racing the gates and there are also more technical sessions that explore a wider variety of snow conditions, with a focus on technique to guide you through the challenges of the mountain.
Starting mid July and run over eight Saturdays, the two or three hour sessions provide you with the skills to compete in the Masters Race weekend, or there are groups with more of a technical focus. Choose from the 7am to 9am or 9.30am to 12.30pm sessions. Bookings are essential for the early morning session.
In addition to these Saturday morning sessions, join Tim Robertson and his team of trainers on the legendary 5 day Masters Race Program. One will start on July 21 and the second starts on July 28, 7am to 1pm.
The program includes:
- 7am race training
- Video analysis
- Off snow sessions covering:
