Church services

The Thredbo Ecumenical Chapel is available for church services, weddings, christenings and baby naming days

The stunning Thredbo Ecumenical Chapel was opened in June 1996 and is nestled amongst the snowgums and wildflowers in the Kosciuszko National Park. The chapel is beautifully appointed, with the alter backed by glass from wall to ceiling and looking out onto the Thredbo River.

There are regular church services held in the chapel. Every Saturday evening there is a Catholic Mass at 5pm and there are ecumenical services on Christmas Day and Easter Sunday at 5pm. There is also an annual ecumenical blessing of the snow held at 2pm on Sunday of the June long weekend.

The chapel is available for other services such as weddings, christenings and baby naming days. For more information please contact Father Peter Miller on (02) 6456 2357.
