Snow clearing

Snow clearing operations in Thredbo are conducted by Kosciuszko Thredbo, who is responsible for the clearing of all public roads, public car parks and most formalised walking paths. Snow clearing of private driveways and car parks remains the responsibility of the individual sub-lessee. Kosciuszko Thredbo does not clear private driveways or their car parks due to liability issues. Several private snow-clearing contractors operate in Thredbo over winter; details can be obtained by contacting the Environmental Services Manager during office hours on (02) 6459 4100.
