Kosciuszko Track Report
The track to the summit is snow covered with the higher you go the deeper the snow. The snow in places is very hard and icy and can be challenging to pass. We recommend any walkers wear sturdy stiff soled footwear/ boots. Those in runners need to be very careful on the icy sections. The Main Range is chilly but looking amazing in pastel autumn colours contrasting with patches of snow on the ground. The toilets at Rawson's Pass are open.

Snowgums Chairlift is open 9am- 4pm. There is a 500m walk to the start of the Kosciuszko Track from the top of the chair. Australia's highest golf course, the Thredbo Golf Course, is open daily from first to last light. Thredbo Bobsled is open midday 4.30pm weather permitting. Tennis Courts are available for hire.

After a big day exploring, spoil yourself with a soothing massage from Tineke Edwards Massage Therapy located in the Thredbo Alpine Hotel 6459 4200. Wild Brumby Distillery open from 10-5pm. Open for lunch, snacks and tastings. Sample a variety of locally made schnapps and check out the stunning still house and surrounds. Located half way between Jindabyne and Thredbo on the Alpine Way.
