It’s the fast and the furious round 4!

Racers will burst from the start at the Easy Rider T-Bar on the All Mountain Trail. Things change quickly as you pin ball through the tight and exciting turns of Dream Run before entering Creek Station. Shear will overpowers skill in the run to the finish down the Friday Flat Loop.

Race Course

Riders will grace the start at the Easy Rider T-Bar, where the All Mountain Trail enters the woodlands. A mixed bag of obstacles will need to be ridden smoothly in this first picturesque section. Things change quickly as you pin ball through the tight and exciting turns of Dream Run. Staying off the brakes here is priority before a breather heading into Creek Station. Racers will then duck into the Friday Flat Loop where shear will overpowers skill in the run to the finish!

All competitors must have an AusCycling Race Membership or purchase a day license here on the day of the race.

The Thredbo Gravity Series is also conducted under the guidelines provided in the AusCycling Member Protection Policy.

Schedule

8:30am – 12pm: Plate collection at Guest Services Valley Terminal

9:30pm – 1pm: Unofficial Practice

1:30pm – 4pm: Friday Flat Fury Racing

4:30pm – 5pm: Presentations at the Thredbo Alpine Hotel

COVID-19 Safety

All Gravity Series events are run in compliance with an approved COVID Safety Plan and AusCycling guidelines. Social distancing will be enforced at all event areas including start lines, finish lines & presentations. Sanitising stations will be offered and enforced at all event areas including registration offices.

FAQs

Does the entry fee include a lift ticket?
No. Competitor lift passes can be purchased for $50 when registering online. However, it does include a free beverage at the Thredbo Alpine Hotel thanks to Kosciuszko Pale Ale.

Can I race on any bike?
Yes, however it must have two working brakes and front suspension. An enduro style bike will be best for this event.

Can I have more than one run?
No. All competitors will only get one race run.
