The famous Thredbo New Yearโs Party is set to rock the village as an action pack evening will ring in the new year!
Adventure during the day with bucket list hikes, adrenaline fueled mountain biking, sweeping views and more. Then ring in the New Year with friends and family at some of Thredbo’s best bars and restaurant followed by live music and celebrations as we start the countdown to 2022.
New Year's Eve Concert
Spindrift Saga make their return to Thredbo for a bumping live set at the Thredbo Alpine Hotel. No strangers to live music in Thredbo, these rockers know how to put on a show.
Local favourite DJ Just Carlo will follow them up, spinning tunes on the decks to close out 2021 and bring in the New Year. With drink specials and great vibes, this is the place to be this New Year’s Eve!

New Year's Day Recovery Party
Soak in the New Year’s vibes with a recovery party! Catch DJ Chekrah on the decks at Merritts Mountain House. The Spindrift Saga boys are back in action, returning to the Alpine Bar for a thumping New Year’s Day set!

Serving up a five course menu, Cascades restaurant is making sure that you welcome the new year in style!
Your evening will begin at 6:30pm with a glass of G.H. Mumm Champagne on arrival and you will be carried into the night of celebrations. Our executive chef, Paul Starley has carefully crafted this menu for the occasion and he cannot wait to share these delicious dishes with you.
Following dinner, dust off those dancing shoes for some late night entertainment with Spindrift Saga!
