The hills are alive with the sound of music! The Thredbo Music Series is bringing live music back to the mountains this summer, with a host of artists set to let it rock from the mountain top! Set up on the mountain over three different Saturdays throughout summer, this series of concerts is all about great tunes and bringing back the good times with family and friends.
2:30PM – 3:30PM: The Barren Spinsters
4PM – 5PM: The Delta Riggs
This is a free concert with limited capacity and entry is based on a first-come, first-served basis.
This is a non-BYO and glass free event.

The Delta Riggs
Kicking things off on 22 Jan, The Delta Riggs promise to deliver their high energy, enchanting disco fuelled form of ‘Brit-Hop’ and fan favourites from across all releases. Fresh off the back of their sold out Australian Modern Pressure tour, the bands critically acclaimed 4th album, the Riggs charged into 2020 supporting Sticky Fingers across a widespread New Zealand Arena tour.
The Barren Spinsters
Armed with a high energy live show, The Barren Spinsters deliver 70’s blues rock with a modern thrashy twist. They look like a two-piece, and move like a hair piece. You’re guaranteed a good time when these lads grab hold of your earhole’s. You don’t even need to buy them dinner first!
The Merritts Music Bowl
Welcome to the new home of live music in Thredbo! Ride the gondola to the the Merritts Music Bowl, where the natural amphitheatre will deliver the perfect mountain moment. Soak in the live music and relax after a great day of mountain biking and hiking and enjoy views down the valley as the sun sets. Picnic blankets and camping chairs are encouraged with an array of delicious food & beverage outlets on offer.

All events are run in accordance with our COVID-19 Operating Plan and are adjusted to suit any current restrictions.
All guests will be required to adhere to COVID-19 Government requirements including but not limited to proof of vaccination or medical exemption, as required under the applicable NSW Public Health Orders at the date of accessing Thredbo owned and operated lifts, facilities and venues. Yes…Break out the cheese and dip! We will also be serving food out of the Merritts Mountain House.
No, this is a licensed venue. We will be serving drinks from an array of different bars throughout the venue.
Yes, however you will need to leave before the mountain bike team sweep the hill at 4pm. After this, the trails will be closed. We encourage all bikers to drop their bikes down earlier in the afternoon.
The bar will shut around 5:15pm, with a final download for passengers finishing at 6pm.
