The Good Times Just Keep Rollin’ | Kosciuszko Chair Opens For Skiing and Unlocks Australia’s Longest Run!
Posted on 18 Jun, 2025 in On the Slopes
Not to toot our own horn or anything, but this June in Thredbo has been absolutely FIRE – and it seems the best is yet to come! How, you might ask? Well, it’s been announced that the Kosciuszko Chairlift is making it’s season skiing debut this Friday June 20, which means Australia’s longest run has been unlocked. Say hello to Supertrail!
There’s ‘Leg Burners’, Then There’s Thredbo
At 3.7kms, Supertrail really lives up to its name, giving intermediate to advanced riders the chance to stretch out their turns and stack up those vertical metres.
After an awesome start to June with unreal conditions in the Cruiser Area and on High Noon, we’re more than ready to take things to the next level with Kozzie laps.
More Terrain, More Fun
While Supertrail might be one of our more iconic runs, we can’t let it get all the attention.
Dream Run is set to make its season debut this Thursday June 19, offering direct access from the Cruiser Area down to Friday Flat. We’re also stoked to announce The Bowl is opening this week, serving up some epic off-piste action in the Cruiser Area.
Also joining the 2025 party: Eagles Way, Eagles Crest, Rossi Race Course, Village Trail, Upper Worldcup and Gunbarrel Traverse – the more the merrier!

With dare we say, perfect conditions, and so many savings to be had in June – there’s no better time to start planning your trip.

Thredbo sits on the traditional land of the Monero – Ngarigo people who have looked after this land, water and community for over 60,000 years. We thank them for all they have done and continue to do to look after their country, a special place which we all love and respect.
