Calling all kids! Thredbo is set to become the ultimate family holiday destination with the return of the July Kids Snow Festival, running from July 3 to July 20.
Designed with families in mind, this school holiday celebration is packed with non-stop fun both on and off the slopes… perfect for little adventurers and snow-loving parents alike!

Fun For Every Age
Kids Movie Night – From 6pm-7:30pm | 12, 13, 16, 17, 18 July | Kosciuszko Room
Finish off a big day on the mountain with a family movie night. With takeaway food available to bring into the event, it’s the perfect wind down.
Family Flare Run & Fireworks – Dusk (around 5pm) | 3, 10 & 17 July | Friday Flat
Every Thursday night enjoy skiing and snowboarding under the night sky on Friday Flat with your very own twinkling LED flare. Once everyone has reached the bottom, the fireworks spectacular lights up the sky. Register here.
Astronomy Night – 7pm – 7:45pm | 10 July | Kosciuszko Room
Join astronomers from Stromlo Observatory for a free session of exploring the night sky.
Lindt Chocolate S’mores – 3pm – 5pm | Thursday – Saturday | Friday Flat
Enjoy the tradition of s’mores with a unique Lindt Chocolate spin. This fun, free après activity takes place on select afternoons at Friday Flat Fire Pits.
Face Painting – 3pm – 5pm | 3, 10 & 17 July | Friday Flat
Get transformed into a magical creature with free face painting on Friday Flat!
Alpine Coaster – 9am – 4pm daily | Valley Terminal
Calling all thrill seekers! The Alpine Coaster is the ultimate activity to keep kids of all ages busy these school holidays.
Thredbo Amazing Race – 8:30am – 4pm | Around the Mountain
Test your knowledge of Thredbo in our brand new Amazing Race! Take on the challenge and solve each clue to find the next spot, make your way around the resort and connect all the dots!
