It’s Time To Lock It In! Winter 2027 Season Passes On Sale NOW
Posted on 1 Oct, 2026
Winter 2027 is already shaping up to be a big one in Thredbo. We’re celebrating 70 years, and Season Passes are officially on sale, giving you the chance to lock in unlimited access and be a part of all the birthday action from June 12 to October 4 2027.
Even better, for just $49, you can lock in the best available price – but be quick, each pricing tier is limited!
So if you don’t need anymore convincing, hit the button below to lock yours in today! Or, keep scrolling to see just why a Thredbo 2027 Winter Season Pass is a no-brainer.
New For 2027: a price just for Young Adults
For the first time, we have introduced a dedicated Young Adult Season Pass for 18 to 24 year olds, with tier 1 pricing starting at just $1379.
Whether you’re studying, starting your first job, finishing your apprenticeship, or simply want to make the most of your early twenties, the new tier makes it easier to spend more time on the mountain without paying the standard adult rate – saving you up to 20%!
Adult Season Passes (25 to 64) start at $1,729, while Kids Season Passes (5 to 12) start at $949.
The earlier you lock it in, the better the price
The Winter 2027 Season Pass sale uses a tiered pricing system, with limited availability at each price point.
Once a tier sells out, pricing moves up to the next one, with no additional passes available at the previous price. So if you know you’ll be spending next winter at Thredbo, getting in early is the way to secure the lowest available price.
And you don’t need to pay it all upfront! The $49 deposit will secure your pass, with the remaining balance due 4 May 2027.
Unlimited access is just the beginning
A Winter 2027 Season Pass gives you unlimited lift access – plus a stack of extra benefits to help you make the most of your time at Thredbo!
❄️Eight Bring A Friend Vouchers
❄️Four Bring A First Timer Vouchers, with up to 50% off a Friday Flat First Timer Package
❄️Complimentary Season Pass Protection
❄️One Alpine Coaster Ride
❄️Discounts across retail, rental, food and beverage, workshop and snowsports lessons
The new Bring a First Timer vouchers are designed to make it easier to get someone new onto snow, whether that’s a mate who has never skied before or the friend who has somehow managed to avoid the mountain all these years.
Lock in winter, unlock summer
Don’t want to wait until next winter to get your Thredbo fix?
When you pay your Winter 2027 Season Pass in full, you can add the Summer 26/27 Upgrade and save up to 25% on a Mountain Bike Gravity Pass or Hiking Pass.
And there’s plenty to look forward to on the bike this summer for all types of riders, with three brand-new gravity trails joining the mountain bike park.
For beginners, Mild Thing will open on Friday Flat, providing a safe and easy ride to help you get your skills dialed.
Our intermediate to advanced riders will be in for a treat with Cruise Control, running from Merritts, with close to 50 jumps on offer – making it our longest jumps line yet!
And last but not least, our advanced riders are invited this year to run The Gauntlet, a brand-new double black diamond downhill racetrack – Thredbo’s most technical descent yet, built in collaboration with Elevation Parks.
So, if you’re already planning your next winter, you can make it a full year on the mountain.

70 Years Of Thredbo
There’s an extra reason to be excited for Winter 2027 in Thredbo.
Next year marks 70 years of Thredbo, and we’ll be celebrating throughout the season with activations, events and plenty happening on and off the mountain.

“Locking in early gets you the best price on lift access, plus a whole season of added value. And with Thredbo turning 70 next year, this is set to be one of the biggest winter activations we’ve ever put on.”
