We’re celebrating the opening of the winter season with a stack of events including dining, live entertainment, fireworks, kids’ activities and more.
Friday 6 June

Take a ride on the state-of-the-art Merritts Gondola, Australia’s only alpine Gondola! A valid lift ticket is required.
Live Painting

Village Square
Famous for his legendary snow sculptures around the resort, Andrew "Grassi" Kelaher will be creating a landscape painting outside the Bakery. Sit back with a coffee and admire some fantastic live art in progress.

Take your height to a whole new level with Alpine Bungee Trampolines!

Nothing better than this yummy winter treat, enjoy the tradition of s’mores with a unique Lindt Chocolate spin.

Opening the season with a BANG! Everyone loves a fireworks display, and Thredbo is famous for putting on some of the best and boy do we have a big one planned for opening weekend.

Thredbo is encouraging everyone to stay safe this winter, enjoy a carefree ride home by booking a seat on the bus.
