Snow Australia is thrilled to announce the FIS JNR SBX Series, an ideal development opportunity for the next generation of snowboard cross athletes.
An overall national champion in both men’s and women’s divisions will also be crowned at the conclusion of the four-event series.

FAQs
All competitors must be a member of their national sporting organization. Entry available to competitors aged 15-19 years as of 31st December 2025 (2006 – 2010 D.O.B).
Snow Australia Membership and FIS License
For domestic Australian competitors, you will need to purchase a minimum level of Snowboard National Racer Membership. This includes your FIS license.
Domestic Entries
Domestic competitors register and pay entry fees online via the Snow Australia Website. Entries close at midnight on Monday 04 August.
International Entries
Entries for international competitors must be submitted by the competitors respective National Federation to Snow Australia. These must be submitted electronically on a standard FIS Entry Form 2 weeks PRIOR to the event start date (or earlier) to [email protected].
All international competitors must hold a current FIS license, and must also register with via the Thredbo online shop.
Yes. Discounted competitors’ tickets will be available for competition days only. You will be contacted via email prior to the event with instructions on how to pay for and collect your day pass.
- 1 day competitor pass: $79 (13-17 years), $149 (18+)
- $5 MyThredbo Card required for all competitors
Bibs will be available at the Team Captain’s Meeting at 5pm in Thredboland on the 6 August. Lost, stolen and unreturned bibs will result in a replacement fee of $50 per bib.
