The Battle on The Bluff is back, and it’s going off on Thredbo’s legendary freeride terrain!
Send dialled cliff drops, hit massive wind lips and show the crew what you’re made of. Fast becoming one of Australia’s premier freeride comps, this is your chance to claim a slice of the massive cash prize purse, plus a heap of rad prizes from Oakley, Burton and Rossignol.

What You Need To Know
- Grom Men Ski & Snowboard: 7 – 12 years old
- Grom Women Ski & Snowboard: 7 – 12 years old
- Junior Men Ski & Snowboard: 13 – 17 years old
- Junior Women Ski & Snowboard: 13 – 17 years old
- Open Men Ski & Snowboard: Any Age
- Open Women Ski & Snowboard: Any Age
Age categories are calculated using age at 31 December 2026.
Format: 1 judged run.
Run Order: Competitors will drop in bib order.
Helmets are compulsory for all competitors.
Competitors can only register for one entry. Entry into multiple categories or disciplines is not allowed.
Overall Run Impression which takes into account:
- Difficulty of line – How technical the path through the course is.
- Control – Was the line ridden exactly like it was anticipated.
- Fluidity – Ensuring a run that flows from feature to feature.
- Jumps – Were there features and how well where they executed throughout the run.
- Technique – How a rider performed based on their ability and compared to others.
