Ability Levels

The Gravity Groms clinic caters for beginners, intermediate & advanced riders. It is encouraged that all riders have some off-road mountain biking experience.

Beginner

The beginner group is perfect for those looking to dabble in the gravity side of mountain biking. The session will start in the Cruiser Skills park refining the fundamentals including body position, braking & gear selection. Once riders are comfortable in the skills park they will take on the beginner & intermediate trails in the Cruiser Area including Easy Rider, Grasshopper & Sidewinder.

Intermediate

The intermediate group is for riders looking to improve their technique, build confidence and gain an introduction into more advanced trails & features. The group will work with their instructor on perfecting cornering techniques, introducing line choice, increasing speed through rough terrain & developing jump & drop techniques. Riders in the intermediate group should be confident on Sidewinder and the Kosciuszko Flow Trail.

Advanced

The advanced clinic is for riders looking to increase speed through rock gardens & steeper terrain and advancing skills on larger jumps & drops. It will also provide an insight into technical line choices and aggressive riding positions. This is ideal for riders who are looking to boost their confidence on black trails including Cannonball Downhill. Participants should be confident on all intermediate trails & features in the park.
