Get Vertical and Win a Heli-Skiing Trip to Canada

Yep you heard right – there’s a trip to Canada worth of $30k to be won, thanks to our mates at CMH Heli-Skiing and Travelplan. “How do I win?” I hear you ask….well all you have to do is ride in Thredbo. But not any kind of riding, not your average I’m-feeling-a-bitdusty-after-last-night kind of ski, not your “Oh I think I’ll just head in for a couple of cold ones and a long lunch at 12pm” kinda day….no, this challenge is for only the most dedicated shredders, those who stay out in all conditions, those who dream about fresh edges.

If you’re up for the challenge, then you have to ski 5000 vertical metres in ONE day in Thredbo – which will automatically record on your lift pass – and then you’ll have a ticket in the draw to win an insane Canadian trip with 7 days of Heli-Skiing and up to 100,000 vertical feet of skiing (and you thought 5000 was a lot!) With Australia’s longest runs right here in Thredbo, it’s really just an opportunity to see if you really can shred it like you tell your mates – get your Weetbix in early, get first lifts and start racking up some laps before a quick lunch and a solid shred until lifts close. It’s no mean feat, but hey, if it’s not hard it’s not worth doing (and if you thought we were going to give away such a sweet as trip at the drop of a hat you’re laughing!) The more days you tip the 5000 metre mark – the more entries you get and the greater your chance of winning the trip!
