Thredbo Wins ‘Best Australian Ski Resort for 2017’ at Snowsports Industry Australia Awards

This year, Thredbo celebrated its 60th season and wow, it sure was one for the books! It was a record breaking season of stoke, snow and après that featured the famous ‘Blizzard of Oz’ trilogy and an unrivalled events and entertainment calendar.
We’re stoked to announce that Thredbo was recently awarded ‘Australia’s Best Ski Resort for 2017’ at the Snowsports Industry Awards held in Canberra, voted on by 30 of the key members in the snowsports industry.
The Snowsports Industry Australia is the trade association for the snowsports equipment industry in Australia. Its members include wholesalers, importers, manufacturers, retailers, rental businesses, other trade buyers and the media.
No other Australian resort has packed as much action into a season and when the season is on, like it has been in 2017, Thredbo really is the place to be in winter thanks to Australia’s longest runs, variety of terrain, massive vertical, epic alpine village and jam-packed events and entertainment calendar.
