Thredbo Snow Series…Freeride on the Bluff

The Thredbo Snow Series “Freeride on the Bluff” event went down yesterday and skiers/snowboarders from every category showed off their impressive all-mountain freeride skills, navigating their own individual lines down the Bluff to impress the judges!

This isn’t your everyday event…competitors had to carefully pick the right line down the iconic Bluff run to showcase their riding and bag of tricks on some of Australia’s most unique freeride terrain.

The level of freeride ability from the grommets was incredible to watch! The coaches and judges could not believe what the majority of competitors we’re throwing down in their runs…great effort guys!

Piper Harding (Grom Women Ski) and Marlee Diver (Junior Women Ski) were the top female rippers, impressing the judges with their choice of line and confidence, both landing themselves at the top of the podium.

Harry Green and Jason Gammell came out on top in the Open Mens categories, showcasing their solid bag of tricks on the biggest features in the Bluff…it sure was impressive to watch!

Kasha Wojcik and Crystal Legoffe were the the best Open Female riders of the day, showing the boys a thing or two with their huge airs and solid landings, both receiving first place in the ski and snowboard categories.
