Snow Report | Up to 80cm of Fresh Snow in the Forecast…

Posted on 6 Aug, 2019

After a week of stunning bluebird conditions, the stormy system is almost here, and it’s expected to bring what could be the biggest snow storm of the season.

The clouds are expected to roll in tomorrow, with a smaller front bringing snow on the higher parts of the mountain, throughout the afternoon and evening.

The real action starts on Thursday, with a large cold front making its way across the mountain, bringing heavy snowfalls throughout the day.

The cold front is expected to continue into Friday, bringing even more snowfalls across the mountain.

Winds are also expected to pick up over the next few days, with moderate to strong gusts up high. The strong winds are set to bring some blizzard conditions on Thursday and Friday, but things will should start to settle as we head into Sunday.

The weekend should see some more light snowfalls, before that sunshine returns on Monday.

All up, we should see this storm bring totals of up to 80cm across the resort, so get ready for some of the best powders days of the season – bring it on!
