The Snow Has Arrived!

Finally Mother Nature has delivered the goods with fresh snow falling down to the village today!

Snowlovers were all smiles as they arrived in Thredbo this morning to be greeted with snowflakes.

Skiers and snowboarders couldn’t wait to get on the new Merritts Gondola and head up the mountain to enjoy the fresh snow.

Intermediate and advanced riders had fun carving fresh turns down the longest run currently open at Thredbo – High Noon.

The soft snow was welcomed by new snowgoers who were learning how to ski and snowboard down at Thredbo’s dedicated beginners area Friday Flat.

This is just the start of the wintry change… with more fresh snow forecast for tomorrow.

The conditions are paving the way for our mountain operations team to open more terrain very soon.
