Winter 2022 has seen Thredbo Resort continue to offer world-class skiing and snowboarding conditions, exclusive premier on-mountain experiences and its biggest ever winter events and entertainment calendar.
After enjoying the best start to winter ever this year, Mother Nature has continued to deliver incredible skiing and snowboarding conditions all season long, with riders making the most of it as they carve up Australia’s longest runs – almost double the amount of vertical terrain than any other Australian resort.
Thredbo is the ultimate place for beginners to learn with a range of lessons and programs for all ages and abilities, as well as speciality programs and tours for those wanting to try something new.
One thing that really puts Thredbo Resort in a league of its own in Australia is the incredible village atmosphere and the record-breaking events calendar, offering the country’s biggest range of unique experiences on and off the mountain.
In addition to everyone’s favourite festival-style après events, Thredbo’s unique on-mountain experiences have been a highlight this winter, featuring once-in-a-lifetime Sunrise Sessions, Merritts Mountain Haus Feasts, deluxe Kareela Hutte Dinners via snowcat as well as the introduction of the new Kareela Supper Club presented by G.H.Mumm.
Thredbo Village has over 30 places to relax, sip and dine, a range of shopping options, plenty of accommodation, and fireworks and flare runs every weekend for the whole family.
Thredbo’s huge range of on-snow events was back in a big way this year with a competition for every type of rider, including the five-part Snow Series competition, the 8th Annual Transfer Banked Slalom and every kid’s favourite, the Torah Bright Mini Shred.
