Cannonball 2023 Day 4: Next Level Pump Track

Day 4 was an absolute vibe at theĀ 2023 Cannonball MTB Festival presented by Boost Mobile.

The energy last night was electric with record-breaking numbers turning out to the Village Green to get amongst the RockShox Pump Track Challenge.

The stakes were higher than ever as riders competed for the Cannonball title and the AusCycling National Championship title in one event.

The Pro Division Finals were an incredible battle to watch, with Jayce Cunning and Anna Newkirk putting on aĀ show to become the new King and Queen of the Pump Track for 2023.

Day 4 was also theĀ Official Practice for the highly-anticipated OakleyĀ Australian Open Downhill event that is coming up on Saturday. Set to be a super heated race, there is a massive rangeĀ ofĀ heavy-hitting national and international riders in the mix, including but not limited to Sam Hill, Camille Balanche, Jackson Goldstone, Nina Hoffman, Laurie Greenland, Sian A’Hern, Josh Arcus, Tim Eaton, Jackson Frew and Benoit Coulanges.

Today, the Official DH Practice will continueĀ along with non-stopĀ entertainment throughout the village with live music and athlete signings. Tomorrow is the final day of the Festival with a massive line-upĀ of pro racing during the day andĀ the Official Cannonball Closing Party featuring a live DJ set from North East Party House at night.
