What A Weekend! Awesome Snow Conditions + Non-Stop Après = The Best Of Times

Anyone else still on a high from last weekend?
Let’s reminisce. Keep scrolling as we look back at some of the highlights…
Okay, let’s start with the skiing and snowboarding. After a few big nights of snowmaking, the mountain was looking lovely and feeling fresh. The sun was out. There was something in the air and we knew we were in for a good weekend.
A while back, we thought to ourselves “What does Australia need?”. And then it came to us… Australia needed a Half-Pipe. Saturday was the perfect day to launch our new 13ft Mini-Pipe at the top of the Cruiser area and it’s safe to say that our guests were excited about the new addition. In the words of one follower, “Absolutely frothing!! 🔥🔥🔥”.

After a big morning of skiing, we got things warmed up in the afternoon at our first-ever Big Deck Energy DJ Session presented by Canadian Club. We took to the Black Sallees deck and enjoyed groovy tunes, Japanese-inspired food and cold beverages in the sunshine… Does on-mountain après get any better than that?
A few more laps before it was time to head down the mountain and slide straight into the 1st First Base event of the season. We got our retro fits and Canadian Club bucket hats on and headed to Alpine Bar to hit the dance floor with some of Australia’s best DJs including Mell Hall, Tori Levett, Tom Tilley and Reuben Styles.
The turn out was absolutely massive and the vibes were even bigger as the people of Thredbo danced underneath the fireworks to celebrate the end of an incredible day.
To keep the good times rolling, we then opened up Thredbo’s famous nightclub The Keller Bar with DJ sets from the likes of DJ Finn. But you know what they say! What happens at The Keller Bar, stays in our camera rolls… So we’re keeping those photos to ourselves!
