Behind The Build | Meet The Thredbo Park Crew
Posted on 22 Jul, 2025
When it comes to the terrain parks at Thredbo, what you see on snow is just the tip of the iceberg. Behind every rail, jump, mini pipe and transition is a dedicated crew of park builders and groomers who live and breathe freestyle… and this season, they’ve been delivering the goods!
From finishing touches at first light, to the final rake of the day, the Thredbo Park Crew have been hard at work keeping things fresh, fun and progressive across the mountain. Whether you’re boosting in the Boost Mobile Terrain Park, hitting creative lines through Antons Park, or dropping into MOOKi’s Mini Pipe (Australia’s only half-pipe), there’s one thing every feature has in common: it’s been shaped with purpose and precision.
Boost Mobile Terrain Park
Quickly becoming one of the most popular progression terrain parks in the country, the Boost Mobile Terrain Park in the Cruiser Area is an iconic part of Thredbo’s winter offering.
With a well-balanced lines of rails, boxes and jumps for every level, there’s rarely a day when this Terrain Park isn’t buzzing.
While this park is open to the public, it also plays host to some of Thredbo’s most well-known events – like the Thredbo Triple Crown Rails. For this event, the park underwent a full rebuild, creating the perfect stage for riders to throw down and showcase their rail skills. Catch the action from Triple Crown below.

Antons Terrain Park
Perhaps the highlight of Thredbo’s parks is the Antons Terrain Park. Currently featuring a 20ft jump, 24ft jump, an Oakley wall ride and a selection of rails, this is the spot where the elite riders show their skills.
It’s also the home of some of our biggest events on the winter calendar, such as Boof Doof presented by Tess Coady, Triple Crown Slopestyle and Triple Crown Big Air.
We can’t wait to see what the park crew create over the season in this space!

MOOKi’s Mini Pipe
All thanks to a generous donation from Olympian and Thredbo Ambassador Scotty James, the MOOKi’s Mini Pipe is the cherry on top for Thredbo’s freestyle offering – a true testament to the magic that’s created when the groomers and park crew come together.
With the MOOKi’s Mini Pipe Cup locked in for another season, the stage is set for an opportunity to ride the pipe with the man himself – Scotty James!
So next time you’re hiking a rail, lining up a jump or just cruising through for fun, take a moment to thank the crew behind it all. The mountain might provide the snow, but it’s the Park Crew who turn it into a playground.

Thredbo sits on the traditional land of the Monero – Ngarigo people who have looked after this land, water and community for over 60,000 years. We thank them for all they have done and continue to do to look after their country, a special place which we all love and respect.
