Don’t believe us? Well, how do you explain this? Funnel Web, top-to-bottom groomed, for the first time in… we don’t even know how long!

So what is it that’s made Winter 2025 so magic? Let’s dive in…
The Storms
Let’s look back on the storm that started it all… Arriving right on time on Opening Weekend and delivering a 53cm storm total that launched us into winter 2025.
The next significant dump arrived on the 25th of June delivering a whopping 43cm that, on top of a strong few weeks of snowmaking, made for a dreamy run into July.

It wasn’t long after that we were treated to another storm smack bang in the middle of the July school holidays that totalled a healthy 39cm.

With another week of snowfall in late July, August was looking all-time, and although the snow gods went quiet for a little while, it seems they were saving the best till last… the storm of the season arrived in all its glory on the 29th of August. After the clouds cleared, we were left with 71cms of the fresh stuff!

The Snowmaking
The healthy snow storms aren’t the only way that Mother Nature has been kind to us this season. With low temps and premium snowmaking conditions, our team of snowmakers have had some jaw-dropping results this year and contributed to some of the best days on the mountain we’ve seen all season!

Across the season so far, we’ve had an average of 94 guns running each night. With the highest number of snow guns (221) firing overnight recorded on the 25th of July!
With the coldest night of the year recorded at the top of the Kosciuszko Express on the 17th of August, bringing temps down to -13.2°C, it’s no wonder our snowmaking team have been delivering the goods!
September Stoke
So, what does this all mean for spring? It means we’ll likely be skiing right up until closing weekend… what better way to send out the 2025 season with a bang!
With the mountain looking absolutely unreal, plenty of events and entertainment to enjoy, and savings to be discovered across accommodation, lift passes and lessons, a fuss-free spring skiing trip has never looked so good.
