Day To Night Racing: Northern NSW & QLD Interschools Hits Thredbo

This week, it has been our absolute pleasure to host the Travel Plan Ski & Snow Australia Northern NSW & QLD Interschools Snowsports Championships in Thredbo!

With a huge schedule of racing across multiple disciplines, the team welcomed racers from schools from Northern NSW and QLD to Thredbo for a big week of racing.

By extending our operating hours, and hosting racing under the newly installed lights on Friday Flat, we were able to give competitors even more time on snow.

Our teams from across the resort came together to help deliver an unforgettable experience for Australia’s next generation of skiers and snowboarders that they will surely remember for years to come!

Friday Flat has been shining a little brighter this week as we welcomed the @snowaust and @travelplanski Interschools Snowsports Championships. From first chair to the final turns under the lights, the energy has been unreal. Extending our operating hours gave competitors even more time on snow, while teams from right across the resort came together to help deliver an unforgettable experience for Australia’s next generation of skiers and snowboarders. A huge thank you to everyone who made it happen. What a week! 🙌

Upper Supertrail is OPEN! 🦸‍♂️ Bottom loading… 😉❄️ Access from the base is via the Kosciuszko Chairlift, with return access to the top loading from Bunny Walk Mid Station on the Snowgums Chairlift. If you’re heading back to the village, you’ll need to download via Bunny Walk Mid Station. Plus! With more snowfall in the forecast the team are planning to open more terrain asap, including Supertrail top to bottom, stay tuned 👀
