From Thredbo To The World Stage: Wishing Luck To Our Olympic Ambassadors!

Posted on 18 Jan, 2026

Our incredible Thredbo Ambassadors make us proud every day but with the winter Olympics just around the corner, there are a few of our friends who have been on our mind!

From early-morning training sessions to chasing fractions of a second on the world stage, these athletes embody everything Thredbo stands for: commitment, resilience and a relentless pursuit of excellence. As they prepare to represent Australia, we’re proud to have been part of their journey – from local laps to Olympic dreams.

So join us as we send our well wishes to our incredible team as they begin their journey to the Olympics!

Scotty James

With the Winter Olympics just around the corner, we’re sending all our support to long-time Thredbo Ambassador Scotty James. A 2x Olympic medallist, 5x World Champion and 10x X Games medallist, Scotty’s journey started right here on the mountain and continues to inspire riders around the world. After absolutely showing off with a near-perfect run in the LAAX Open in Switzerland and taking out his fifth world title… Scotty is looking primed for an unreal performance in the Olympics!

We can’t wait to watch him drop in and represent Australia on the biggest stage -good luck, Scotty. We’ll be cheering you on every run.

Tess Coady

Our girl Tess Coady is no stranger to world-wide success, with an Olympic bronze and X Games silver medal already under her belt. Beyond taking the world by storm, Tess Coady also plays host to one of the most iconic snowboarding events on the Australian calendar here in her home resort. The Tess Coady Bush Doof is a snowboarding star-studded gathering that has become a jewel in the crown of Thredbo’s winter offering!

We can’t wait to see what Tess has up her sleeve for the upcoming Olympic Games, we are with you every step of the way!

Josie Baff

We love supporting all of our ambassadors, but it is a little extra special when they are of the local variety. Born and bred in Jindabyne, NSW, 22 year old Josie Baff already has a World Champion Silver on her repertoire and is definitely one to keep an eye on!

With her signature pink helmet and incredible speed, we are already so proud of you Josie!

Ben Tudhope

Starting his Olympic career at the age of 14 at the 2014 Paralympics, Ben Tudhope has a long list of medals to his name. With a world champion title under his belt, and some time already spent on the Olympic podium, Ben is no stranger to success.

We’re so excited to see you shine at the Paralympics this year Ben – you’re our hero!

Michael Milton

Michael Milton is a single-leg skier who calls Thredbo his home and is Australia’s most successful Paralympic athlete in the Winter Games. With 6 Olympic Gold medals to his name, it’s always a delight to see Milto on the slopes at Thredbo – and we were so excited to hear that after a 20 year hiatus, Michael is making his Olympic return in 2026!
