Josie Baff Takes Gold And Scotty James Takes Silver: HUGE Success For Our Thredbo Ambassadors
Posted on 14 Feb, 2026
Wow, what a day at the 2026 Winter Olympic Games for our Thredbo Ambassadors.

Josie Baff Takes Gold
From 17th in the time trial to top of the podium… that’s how Josie Baff does it.

After scraping through the quarterfinal in a photo finish, the Jindabyne local turned up the heat. A bold inside move in the semi saw her surge from third to first, booking her spot in a stacked Big Final.

A decisive mid-race pass put her into the lead, and she never gave it back – crossing the line in first in a statement win.

From mid-pack to untouchable. That’s our girl.

Scotty James Officially Our Most Decorated Winter Olympian
It’s official, Scotty James has locked in his title as our most decorated Winter Olympian – and we are so proud. Watching him achieve this title in his home resort this morning was truly something special.

It came down to the wire in a best-of-three final where Scotty’s second run ultimately scored him the medal with a 93.5.

A true champion, we are so proud of you Scotty!
