A matter of DAYS after we officially opened for skiing in 2025, the Cruiser Area came to the party on the 10th of June – unlocking incredible skiing and snowboarding in this crowd favourite alpine terrain!

With some cold snowmaking temperatures, and Mother Nature coming to the party with a few top ups… it wasn’t long before we were skiing Australia’s longest run!

Supertrail officially joined the part on the 20th of June, setting the bar even higher for the season in just the first few weeks!

With terrain for all rider levels, lighter crowds and great value pricing, it didn’t take long for those who experienced it to realise June might just be Thredbo’s best-kept secret.

Then, with a huge storm in the forecast for later in the month, all eyes were on the mountain operations team as guests anticipated what terrain would open up next!

But who could have anticipated a 43cm storm!

Once this storm cleared on June 26, leaving behind 43cm of magic, it wasn’t long before the Anton’s T-Bar, Basin T-Bar, the Boost Mobile Terrain Park and the iconic Kareela Hutte all opened… and just like that Thredbo’s mountain was HUMMING with action on and off the snow.

It doesn’t matter what type of skier or snowboarder you are, whether you’re hungry for powder, chasing blue birds, or simply want something for the whole family to enjoy – June has it ALL! And with smaller crowds and better prices… there’s really no excuse why you shouldn’t champion your winter early in 2026.
