Three new mountain bike trails, early-bird savings and a packed events calendar… summer in Thredbo is shaping up to be a good one!

Summer is calling, and we’re getting ready for another season in the mountains and inviting you to Find Your Outside Voice this season.

Our hiking and biking season is opening on 21 November and our summer products and events calendar is now live! That means it’s time to get your crew together and lock in your adventure plans.

Three new trails are joining the Mountain Bike Park

We’re adding three new trails to our 40km+ network of purpose built terrain this summer, giving riders of all abilities something new to get excited about.

Whether you’re finding your feet on the bike, looking to progress your skills or chasing your next downhill challenge, there’s something with your name on it.

Here’s what’s new for 2026/27:

⛰️Mild Thing: New to mountain biking? This skills-based beginner trail on Friday Flat is the perfect place to build confidence, accessible from the Merritts Gondola mid-station.

⛰️Cruise Control: Ready to catch some air? This intermediate jump trail features more than 50 jumps from top to bottom and is accessible from the base of the Cruiser Area.

⛰️The Gauntlet: For those chasing something a little more serious, our new double black diamond downhill race track runs from the top of Merritts Gondola all the way to Friday Flat.

The Gauntlet is set to be a major addition to our downhill offering, marking our most significant downhill trail build since Cannonball more than 30 years ago.

With four mountain bike chairlifts, seven hours of daily operations and more than 40km of maintained, patrolled and purpose-built trails, there’s plenty of riding to get stuck into this summer.

Make more of your visit with the Summer Adventure Pass
