First Turns On Friday Flat!
Get in your first turns and warm up those legs for the season ahead with first turns on Friday Flat!

Thanks to our All-Weather Snowmaking Unit, we can confirm skiing and snowboarding on day one at Friday Flat – so dust of your gear and get ready to be one of the first to claim a lap in Winter 2026.
AG1 Après
With so much to do over the Opening Weekend, you’re going to want to put your best foot forward from the get go – and with the help of our friends at AG1, you’ve got the power to do just that.
Head to the Village Square from 9am-2pm on Saturday or Friday Flat from 9am-2pm on Sunday to sample some AG1 and give yourself a health-boost so you can make the most of our Opening Weekend!

Free Family Fun
The Keller Kids Hub will be the home of free family fun from 11am-3pm across the weekend to keep the little ones smiling all weekend long.

With face painting, arts and crafts, s’mores – it’s the perfect space for families to make some memories.
Live Painting
On Saturday in the Village Square from 10:30am-2pm be sure to catch Andrew ‘Grassi’ Kelaher as he creates a stunning landscape outside the Thredbo Bakery. Known for his incredible snowscapes and ice sculptures, it’s truly a delight to watch a master at work!

Hit The Alpine Coaster
Open 9am-4:30pm across Opening Weekend, what better way to kick off winter than a thrilling lap on Australia’s only Alpine Coaster!

With a host of acts, there’s never a dull moment in Thredbo across Opening Weekend, that’s a promise.

Meet Thredbo’s Winter Olympic Medalists
Welcome back Thredbo’s incredible ambassadors Josie Baff and Ben Tudhope at 12:30pm at the Alpine Bar on Saturday after their success in the Olympic Winter Games.
With a poster signing and Q&A – this is your chance to rub shoulders with some of the best winter athletes Australia has ever seen!

Warren Millers Film Screening: SNO-CIETY
Put your feet up and feast your eyes on a screening of Warren Millers 76th Annual Ski Film “SNO-CIETY” at 1:30pm on Saturday.
This edition celebrates the community and culture of snowsports, proving winter is more than just snow…and what better way to watch it than the big screen at the Alpine Bar?!
