What happens in a black hole? Are there other planets that may support life? What caused the Big Bang?
Explore these topics and more at a FREE session with astronomers from Mt Stromlo Observatory. No bookings required, just turn up and grab a seat.
If there is a clear night sky, we will head outside for a look through a giant telescope. Take advantage of the minimal light pollution and high-quality telescopes to see a close-up view of Jupiter and its moons, beautiful star clusters, and nebulae underneath the Milky Way.
Object visibility will vary depending on the night and weather.

Thredbo sits on the traditional land of the Monero – Ngarigo people who have looked after this land, water and community for over 60,000 years. We thank them for all they have done and continue to do to look after their country, a special place which we all love and respect.
