The Thredbo sunrise experience you know and love has levelled up. Say hello to the First Tracks Club, an unforgettable alpine experience made for those who like their turns early, their views uninterrupted and their access exclusive.

Begin with a snowcat ride up to Australia’s highest restaurant, Eagles Nest, for sunrise and a light breakfast, soaking in stunning mountain views as the resort comes to life below. Then unlock more than 30 minutes of private access to the Basin ski area – fresh corduroy, no lift lines, just you, first light and perfectly groomed runs.

Then, to top it all off, enjoy first tracks down Supertrail, our longest and most iconic run.

Meeting times and breakfast duration for each session varies from 5:45am to 6:20am, depending on time of sunrise.

Sunrise Sessions will run every Tuesday from 28 July – 25 August.

What You Need To Know

Meeting Point: Base of Kosciuszko Chairlift
Transport: A snowcat will take you up to Eagles Nest Restaurant for a light breakfast.
- In order to access the cat, guests must climb up and down a small ladder.
Breakfast is included: Tuck into a light breakfast accompanied with mimosas.
Ability Level: Guests must be at least an upper-intermediate skier or snowboarder to be able to ride down Supertrail.
What To Bring:
- Bring your ski or snowboard equipment to the meeting point
- Helmets are recommended
- Remember, it can be much colder at Eagles Nest than down in the village, so please dress appropriately.
Safety: For your safety, you must remain with the group at all times.

Weather and Conditions Dependent

If there is a chance of unsafe conditions your guide and the mountain team will cancel the session. The final decision will be made on the morning of the event and we will contact you at least an hour before the meeting time to organise a full refund.

6:20am	SNOWCAT – Snowcat departs, driving you to Eagles Nest
7:07am	SUNRISE – Take in the magic of sunrise on top of Australia
7:15am	BREAKFAST – Enjoy an light on-mountain breakfast and coffee at Eagles Nest
7:45am	FIRST TRACKS - Enjoy a private private access to the Basin ski area with no lift lines!
8:25am	FIRST LAP – Carve out first tracks down Supertrail before lifts open Optional: Enjoy the views and a long breakfast
