Kareela Snowcat Dinners
Tuesday 7 Jul - Tuesday 18 Aug, 2026
Perched high above the village, Kareela Hutte is one of Australia’s most coveted alpine dining destinations. This winter, arrive in style with a scenic snowcat journey through Thredbo’s illuminated mountain landscape to the warmly lit restaurant nestled high on the slopes.
Step into an intimate European-style setting and indulge in a refined multi-course menu paired with premium St Hugo Wines, as you soak up the magic of the alpine at night. This is the perfect experience for milestone celebrations and those seeking an unforgettable evening of luxury in the Snowy Mountains.
There are two snowcat trips to and from Kareela. Please specify when booking which cat you would like to take. These spots are reserved on a first come, first serve basis.
These evenings are offered as exclusive private buy-out opportunities, meaning you can secure the entire Kareela Snowcat Dinner for your own group. If not purchased as a full buy-out, this date plus other select dates will be released at a later time with individual tickets available.
Kareela Snowcat Dinners will run on select Tuesday nights from 7 July – 18 August.
Thredbo practices the responsible service of alcohol – please drink responsibly.

Thredbo sits on the traditional land of the Monero – Ngarigo people who have looked after this land, water and community for over 60,000 years. We thank them for all they have done and continue to do to look after their country, a special place which we all love and respect.
