Kids Enviro Flare Run

To celebrate our Enviro Week, we’re bringing a touch of green to Family Flare Run. We’ll have a stacked line up of extra kids activities on hand for kids to learn about the natural environment around them.
Please note that registration is mandatory for both adults and children. Only parents of participating children are eligible to attend the event.
Helmets are compulsory.
Family Flare Run is weather dependent.
While this event is free, online registrations and a MyThredbo card are essential. Numbers are limited.

FAQs
- Children aged 3 to 14 years
- Children aged 3 to 6 years must be accompanied by an adult aged 18 years and over
- Up to 2 parents allowed to accompany children
- Parents are encouraged to participate as well as assisting siblings aged 15-17
To take part in the Flare Run, you must be at least a level 4 skier.
- Level 4: I finish my turns with the skis parallel but I still have a snowplough for most of my turn, on all green slopes. Refer to: Know Your Ski & Snowboard Level | Thredbo Snowsports
You can purchase flares (lights) from Thredbo Retail store at Friday Flat or out the front of the Bistro.
No, kids will not be allowed to ski with poles.
No, foot passengers are not allowed.
