Ability Levels

The School Holiday Camps have beginner, intermediate & advanced levels.

Beginner

The beginner group is for riders looking to learn the fundamentals of gravity mountain biking in a safe and controlled environment. Utilising the beginner gravity trails including Easy Rider & Sidewinder, the group will work with their instructor on the correct body position, braking control, gear selection and trail speed. The goals for the group is to work towards comfortably riding the intermediate trails in the park including Ricochet, Kosciuszko Flow & Paparazzi.  Riders in the beginner group should have some off-road riding experience.

Intermediate

The intermediate group is for riders looking to improve their technique, build confidence and gain an introduction into more advanced trails & features. The group will work with their instructor on perfecting cornering techniques, introducing line choice, increasing speed through rough terrain & developing jump & drop techniques. The goals for the group is to work towards riding more advanced trails like the Cannonball Downhill. Riders in the intermediate group should be confident on Sidewinder and the Kosciuszko Flow Trail.

Advanced

The Advanced clinic is for riders looking to increase speed through rock gardens & steeper terrain and advancing skills on larger jumps & drops. It will also provide an insight into technical line choices, aggressive riding positions & race preparation.
