The Thredbo Triple Crown will challenge skiers and snowboarders across three massive freestyle events with their own unique set up. Competitors will throw down for the panel of judges, showing off some of the best up and coming talent in the country. The Thredbo Triple Crown is all about a friendly atmosphere, allowing the athletes to push themselves in a fun and supportive environment.
With a huge pool of $60k cash and prizes on offer, competitors are going to have to throwdown a bag of tricks to claim top spot on the podium. It’s not all about the pros though, we’ve still got the junior and grommet categories covered with plenty of rad prizes up for grabs. Enter now to take home your share of the $16K cash prize purse!
Thredbo Parks have been brainstorming all summer, coming up with some some creative ideas for super unique set-ups that everyone can enjoy!

Rails | 2 August
Let’s get tricky. Frontside, backside, switch ups and everything in between, the Rails event in the Cruiser Terrain Park is the perfect way to show off what you’ve been working on throughout the early season. Grab your skis or snowboard and compete alongside all your mates.
Slopestyle | 30 August
Slopestyle provides a course with a mixture of jumps and rail features where competitors need to put down a clean run from start to finish. Come and check out the competitors as they showcase their bag of tricks and nail that perfect run.
Big Air | 1 September
The final stop of the 2024 Thredbo Triple Crown, the Big Air is the time to go for glory! This showdown takes centre stage in the Monster Terrain Park. Competitors will go big or go home with points scored from a blend of technicality, air and style with the ultimate prize of top spot and hopefully the Triple Crown!
What You Need To Know
- Grom Men Ski & Snowboard: 7 – 12 years old
- Grom Women Ski & Snowboard: 7 – 12 years old
- Youth Men Ski & Snowboard: 13 – 14 years old
- Youth Women Ski & Snowboard: 13 – 14 years old
- Junior Men Ski & Snowboard: 15 – 17 years old
- Junior Women Ski & Snowboard: 15 – 17 years old
- Open Men Ski & Snowboard
- Open Women Ski & Snowboard
Age categories are calculated using age at 31 December 2024.
Event Entry
- All Categories: TBC
Competitors Pass
- Open: TBC
- Youth & Junior: TBC
- Grom: TBC
All Open Ski & Snowboard podiums will take home per event:
- 1st = $500
- 2nd = $300
- 3rd = $200
The overall Triple Crown winner will take home a bonus payment too.
All other podiums for each category will take home a rad prize bag filled with goodies from our sponsors Burton, Rossignol, Oakley & GoPro.
