Weekly Wrap: Slammin Sam delivered the goods

What an incredible week!
The weather gods were kind, kicking off the week with beautiful bluebird days, before that big stormy system came through and delivered the biggest snowfall of the season.
The week started off with stunning blue days and light winds, with riders of all levels taking advantage of the great top to bottom conditions.
Those clouds rolled in on Wednesday and we saw the start of the storm arrive, with a few snow flurries throughout the day.
The stormy system really kicked off on Thursday, with snow falling across the mountain, delivering over 20cm of fresh snow fall. The winds did start to pick up, which created some blizzard conditions on the higher terrain.
Friday brought the goods. Guests woke up to a mountain of fresh powder, with knee deep snow right down to the village.
The mountain was covered in fresh powder, with 60cm of fresh snowfall overnight, and another 20cm which fell throughout the day.
All up, by the end of the weekend, the storm had reached totals of over 130cm.
Apres went into overdrive this week. Mumm took over Thredbo, presenting a massive line up of legendary acts, and free parties.
Starting on Friday, there was a huge outdoor concert at the Alpine Bar at the Thredbo Alpine Hotel.
Musical superstars Mashd N Kutcher took over the stage with a visual performance that had guests in a trance.
Saturday brought even more good times, with another massive concert. Super sensation Hot Dub Time Machine headlined the show, with crowds going wild over his incredible visual display and throw back hits.

As always, we had a constant stream of live music and entertainment throughout the village.
It was the ultimate powder week, with the storm delivering some of the best snowfalls Thredbo has seen in years.
Skiers and boarders were in freshies heaven.
