Merritts Mountain Haus Feast kicked off for the season on Saturday with pretzels, steins and good times!
Guests boarded Merritts Gondola while the sun began to fall behind the alpine and watched the lights of Thredbo Village twinkle to life as they made their way up the mountain. Some chose to enjoy a spectacular Flare Run and fireworks display as they sipped pre-dinner après at the Alpine Bar.
On arrival, they were greeted with warm Thredbo smiles at the cosy Merritts Mountain House. The all-inclusive smorgasbord provided a flavorsome feast with a mountain of Bavarian favourites from Haus Baked Pretzels to Pork Knuckle and bratwurst, all the way to Apfelstrudel.
For those feeling fancy, a pre-dinner Snowcat Tour was booked and took a select few over to Kareela Deck to sip champagne and watch the mountain entertainment from above.
The Merritts Mountain Haus Feast is part of the Unique On-Mountain Experiences offered by Thredbo for winter 2021.
