Backcountry Conditions Report

Current Backountry Conditions
The mountains are beautiful any time of the year, but right now they’re inviting you to the backcountry!
With a few fronts sweeping through and leaving behind pockets of fresh snow, and plenty more in the forecast (some models predicting over 50cm) the alpine peaks are well and truly ready to rip into!
Wind blown pockets are where the centimetres are stacking up, and our guides know exactly where to find them. Other areas of the backcountry remain firm and scoured from high winds. While not ideal for skiing – these zones provide great snowshoe travel, allowing you to stay on top of the snow rather than sinking in.
