Little legends will love the Kids Snow Festival, packed with movie nights, a special kids flare run, and a heap of on and off-mountain fun that keeps the stoke high from first chair to last light.

Astronomy Night

What happens in a black hole? Are there other planets that may support life? What caused the Big Bang? Explore these topics and more at a FREE session with astronomers from Mt Stromlo Observatory. No bookings required, just turn up and grab a seat. Spots are limited.

Test your knowledge of Thredbo in our brand new Amazing Race! Take on the challenge and solve each clue to find the next spot, make your way around the resort and connect all the dots. Find the first clue at the big trail map at Friday Flat. Complete the race for your chance to win a trip to Thredbo!

Back again this season, enjoy the tradition of s’mores with a unique Lindt Chocolate spin. This fun, free après activity takes place on select afternoons at the Friday Flat Fire Pits.

Youth Development Backcountry Tour

Kosciuszko Backcountry

A brand new backcountry tour designed to inspire the next generation of enthusiasts aged 15-18 years. Participants will receive mentorship, new experiences, upskilling opportunities, and community connections.

Kids Movie Night

When it comes to the school holidays, a movie is always a great way to finish off a big day on the mountain. Parental supervision required. Takeaway food is available to be purchased from the Pub Bistro, Alpine Pizzeria, Izakaya and brought into the event.

Family Flare Run & Fireworks

Dusk (around 5pm) | 2, 9 & 16 July

Friday Flat

Every Thursday night enjoy skiing and snowboarding under the night sky on Friday Flat with your very own twinkling LED flare (available for purchase at Friday Flat). Once everyone has reached the bottom, the fireworks spectacular lights up the sky. Registrations are essential.

At the completion of our weekly Flare Run down the iconic Supertrail, look up to the skies to witness the largest fireworks display in the region. This pyrotechnic spectacular will see the mountains illuminate and the alpine sky pop and sparkle with a kaleidoscope of colour. Watch it with free s'mores from the Keller Green!
