This year, our winter season starts on Saturday 8 June and closes Monday 7 October, 2019. As always, lift operations and trails are dependent on weather and snow conditions.
Our winter operation times are 8.30am – 4.30pm, with T-Bars closing at 4.00pm. Lift status is updated daily during winter.
Thredbo village offers a great range of restaurants, cafes, shops and a first-class leisure centre – all within walking distance to the base of the mountain so it’s easy to meet friends and family for lunch.
Top tip: Take a scenic chairlift ride up to Merritts Mountain House restaurant.
The main route runs between the zebra crossing at Friday Flat to the Information Centre at Valley Terminal between 7:30am and 9pm. Find out more about the 3 bus routes and extended night service.
We offer group lessons, private lessons and full day childrens programs, as well as advanced lessons, race & training programs. Find out more
Unfortunately not, the only way to allow adults and children in the same lesson is to book a private lesson.

No. This year Ikon has changed their terms and conditions to allow the Northern Hemisphere Ski Season to come first. Therefore the 19/20 Ikon Pass will only be valid at Thredbo during the 2020 winter season.
No, it is unsafe to carry your baby in a backpack or baby carrier while skiing. Our lift operators won’t let you board the lifts if they see your child in a baby carrier.

In winter, visit Guest Services in resort at Friday Flat, Valley Terminal or at Nuggets Crossing in Jindabyne.
In summer, visit Guest Services at Valley Terminal.
Top tip: To save time, upload a photo to your profile before you arrive. After logging in to your account, go to Customer info and upload a head shot for yourself and any others who booked together in the same group.
Thredbo products are non-refundable and non-transferable to any other person or date.

After you have received medical assistance, you can visit us Guest Services at Friday Flat, Valley Terminal or Nuggets Crossing in Jindabyne to find out if you are eligible for an injury credit.
Public toilets are located at Friday Flat, Valley Terminal, Village Green, the Bistro, Village Square, the Information Centre and Thredbo Leisure Centre. Download the village map to find all amenities.
You can find baby change tables in the public toilets at Friday Flat, Valley Terminal, Village Green, the Information Centre, and the Thredbo Leisure Centre.
Any lost property that gets handed into Guest Services will end up in our back office at Friday Flat. We will hold invaluable items (clothing etc.) for 2 weeks. Valuable lost property (phones, wallets, expensive equipment etc.) will be collected by police on a monthly basis. Credit cards will be destroyed after 24 hours.
If you’ve lost an item, it’s best to complete our Lost Property form and we’ll get in contact with you.
Thredbo Mountain Bike Park and Guided Hikes close on Sunday 28 April, 2019. As always, lift operations and trails are dependent on weather conditions.
We will re-open at the end of the year on Saturday 16 November, 2019.
