Australia’s biggest gravity mountain biking event, the Cannonball Mountain Biking Festival, has just wrapped up in Thredbo after five days of intense competition, with over 900 competitors riding it out for a slice of the $100K prize pool across the five signature events.

The action stepped it up a gear Friday with a feast of festival action on both sides of the mountain. The sun was shining and as the temperatures soared, the track dried fast and the dust whipped up.

The Thredbo Cannonball MTB Festival kicks off Wednesday 5th December and is set to again be Australia’s biggest and richest mountain bike event with close to 900 competitors, the best mountain bike riders from around the world, a massive $100,000 prize purse and sunshine in the forecast for the 5 days of events across multiple mountain biking disciplines.
