Ability Levels

The Women’s Ride Days has beginner and intermediate levels.

Beginner

The beginner is tailored for riders eager to learn the fundamentals of gravity riding in a safe, supportive environment. Using beginner-friendly trails like Easy Rider and Sidewinder, participants will work with instructors to master skills such as body position, braking control, and gear selection. The goal is to build confidence and prepare for intermediate trails like Ricochet, Kosciuszko Flow, and Paparazzi. While some off-road riding experience is helpful, this group welcomes all aspiring female riders.

Intermediate

The intermediate group is designed for riders looking to improve their technique, build confidence, and gain an introduction to more advanced trails and features. Participants will work with instructors to perfect cornering, make line choices, increase speed through rough terrain, and develop jump and drop skills. The group aims to prepare riders for tackling challenging trails like the Cannonball Downhill. Riders should already be confident on Sidewinder and the Kosciuszko Flow Trail.
