As the saying goes, what happens in Thredbo, stays in Thredbo – and you are certainly going to want to stay in Thredbo when you see the epic line-up of artists we’ve got planned for the party season ahead featuring Yolanda Be Cool and Hot Dub Time Machine, just to #namedrop a few. Here’s what you’re in for:

Go Freek and Indian Summer – Sunday July 16, 9pm at the Keller Nightclub

Kicking off the sleepless week of partying that is Uni week, we’ve got two hot Australian acts to get you excited, starting with electronic duo and ARIA Club Chart toppers Go Freek to get the party pumping. You’re in for a treat: these guys have been hand-picked to work with huge international artists including Steve Aoki and have done remixes for the likes of Ministry of Sound. It doesn’t stop there though, that same night we’ve got Indian Summer hitting the decks – you might have raved to the tunes of these Melbourne boys at the likes of Splendour in the Grass or Future Music.

Go Freek

Yolanda be Cool and Torren Foot – Thursday 20 July, 2-7pm, Poolside Thredbo Alpine Hotel

You’d have to be living under a rock to not have heard worldwide number one track “We No Speak Americano”, or raved to platinum single “Sugar Man”, so you’ll understand just how huge it is to have Yolanda Be Cool coming to get us dancing at an epic Poolside Apres Party on July 20. Consider yourself lucky – these party-music icons have played for crowds of 90,000. Also featuring as you sip your Canadian Clubs by the pool is Torren Foot, of the ARIA Club Chart hit ‘Ain’t Nobody’ – and we’re confident you’ll be feeling like you ain’t yourself or nobody else for that matter by the end of this party.

Hot Dub Time Machine – Heineken Thredbo Village Concert Series, July 29, 5-9.30pm

Who better to help us celebrate 60 years of Thredbo than the time traveller himself: Hot Dub Time Machine. If you haven’t heard of him then you certainly must be living in the dark ages, as Hot Dub has taken ravers through pop musical history across the world at sellout concerts, the biggest international festivals and recently at the hugely successful Hot Dub Wine Machine vineyard series. Known as giving you the “best party ever”, we know that’s only half true, as the best party ever is going to be his debut at the epic Thredbo village concert as he takes us through just over 60 years of tunes from 1954 to today. To add to the hype, up and coming techno act Human Movement will get the party started, you’ll be getting a preview of their Metro theatre show happening this September  with the Sydney pair Blake and Eddie sure to show us why they’re at the forefront of the Aus techno scene.

Confidence Man – First Base Vintage Apres Soiree, August 5, 3-7pm

Headlining the second of three super loose First Base Poolside Apres parties are the four Brisbane mates that make up the dance act that is Confidence Man – their tunes an addictive self-described combination of big bass, cheeky percussion and badass dance. These guys have big plans for touring, music writing and most importantly “more overstated outfits” – so they will be right at home at the retro-themed soiree that will have you as loud as your 90’s one piece.

Client Liaison – Poolside Apres Party, August 19, 2-7pm

Raise your glasses, or rather, your Kosziuszko Pale Ales because Client Liaison is hitting the Poolside party scene, fresh from their soldout national tour following their release of massive debut album Diplomatic Immunity, which featured a track with Tina Arena. An epic addition to help us celebrate 60 years in style, get ready to “think nothing. feel everything” as you gorge yourself on Client Liaison’s consuming “turn-of-the-nineties synth pop” sound.

The Preatures – Saturday August 26, 2-7pm, Corona Sunsets presents the Poolside Thredbo Alpine Hotel

If you loved them here in 2015 you’re going to love them again now…as part of Corona Sunsets, The Preatures are returning to Thredbo ahead of their much anticipated national tour as part of the release of their sophomore album, Girlhood. If you haven’t yet heard the 5-piece from Sydney, expect to add yourself to the list of fans that includes the likes of Pink and Harry Styles…it’s no surprise their rise to fame has seem them perform at Glastonbury, Coachella and on the Jimmy Kimmel Live Show. Alongside The Preatures will be the “Sweatiest rock band in Sydney”, The Polish club, (their words not ours) and by the end of their set you’ll understand why, as Novak and Henry will have you racing round the DF quicker than you can get down Rossi Racecourse to their unique rapid-fire rock tunes.

Winston Surfshirt and Luke Million – Saturday September 9

Kicking off the poolside apres from 3pm, DJs Hugo Gruzman (Flight Facilities) and Tom Tilley (Client Liaison/ Triple J) will take you straight from the peaks of the mountain to the peaks of the final First Base party, with huge aussie artist Luke Million set to get you weirder than his viral version of Netflix’s “Stranger Things” theme song. Bringing a bit of Sydney’s Northern Beaches to the snow, Winston Surfshirt will be headlining the final huge Heineken Village Concert starting at 6pm in the Village Square. The distinctive 6-piece’s  sound is described as “mellifluous Psychedelic Sex Funk Soul” and is sure to make its mark on Thredbo, as it has at various Aussie music events including Sydney’s Big Day Out and Homebake.

It doesn’t stop there, other awesome music acts heading down to party it up in Thredbo include: Halfway Crooks at the Oakley Prizm Palooza Party, Jesse Porsches, Elizabeth Rose, KLP, Commandeur and Moza at the G.H. Mumm Poolside Apres Party, The Preatures, Bang Gang DJs at the Fireball Full Moon Party, and Strange Associates and Panama at the Village Concert… so you’d better get down here and #ShareTheStoke.
