We woke up to a winter wonderland in Thredbo this morning with Mother Nature treating us to 15 cm of fresh snow up top and 7 cm in the village!
High noon made its season debut today! The steepest and longest run in Australia open right now!
The first weekend of the winter 2020 season saw perfect conditions on the mountain with nothing but sunshine and blue skies.
Mountain Operations have piled up the white gold, the chairs are racked on and the winter vibes have rolled into town.
We’ve had a huge week of snowmaking with over 150 guns pumping across the past 7 days…it’s really looking like winter and we can’t wait to kick off the season from 22 June!
Stoked…Winter has arrived! The switch has been flicked, as snow making started last night with 154 guns in action all the way through to sunrise.
Winter is back! Over the past two days Mother Nature rolled in and delivered a wintry mix of conditions – freezing temps, fresh snow, stormy clouds…a great way to kick off the first couple days of winter!
A super May continues as we received a light dusting of snow overnight! More of the white stuff has finally turned up, following a cold system which rolled into the mountains earlier this week.
Mother Nature turned up the volume on the weekend with the first big snow storm of the season!
