With in lesson lift line priority on eligible lessons, you can spend less time waiting and more time building confidence, improving technique and having fun on the snow.

If you’ve never been skiing or snowboarding, start with a Friday Flat First Timer Lesson. It’s designed specifically for first-time visitors and teaches the fundamentals in Thredbo’s dedicated beginner area before progressing to group lessons.

Absolutely. Adult lessons help beginners build confidence faster while experienced skiers and snowboarders can refine technique, explore new terrain and improve safely with expert guidance.

Group lessons are ideal for learning alongside others and improving core skills.

Private lessons provide personalised coaching, flexible pacing and are the fastest way to progress.

Yes. Thredbo offers lessons and programs for children from toddlers through to teenagers, with options matched to their age and ability.

For added peace of mind, all instructors hold a valid NSW Working with Children Check. Eligible children’s programs also use Flaik GPS devices, worn securely around the ski boot, to provide real-time location tracking on the mountain. View our full child policy for more information

Yes. You’ll need to have ski or snowboard equipment with you for your lesson. If you don’t own equipment, you can hire it through Thredbo and add rental equipment to your booking to make planning simple.
